February design musings from a portland interior designer

Happy February! The shortest month of the year, but not short on design. This winter we’re deep in the design phase on several projects and wrapping up our Manhattan Beach cottage project. The end is near and we can’t wait to shoot in spring!

Right now, we’re drawn to funky art, vintage Murano glass chandeliers, whimsical details (see the glazed ceramic fish below), high-gloss paint, and high-impact yet approachable color (deep burgundies, sky blues, mustard yellows). What are you loving right now this winter season?
